It’s part sales pitch, part self-delusion, part reckless dare — and Basine, despite every ounce of reason telling her to run, plays along.
Their conversation is a dance of skepticism and intrigue. She’s drawn by Jonnie's audacity and his twisted optimism that constraints don’t matter — that you don’t have to prove something works to sell it.
