Mookie Spitz reads The Irate Escape, last section of the first wild episode in his new sci-fi novel Jonnie Fazoolie & the Transfinite Reality Engine.
Jonnie, still strutting around in a dripping espresso-stained wingsuit, tries to charm Penny Pitz in the marble lobby of a Chicago high-rise -- and #fails. Penny’s having none of it — she flips him off and spins out of his life through a revolving door. Jonnie's left holding a confused cat and a crumpled ego, wondering if his coin toss means anything at all.
Then it’s off to the races as Jonnie jumps into his nearly-invisible Vanta Black Tesla, lures his cat with a treat, and launches the car to feed his kitty and again prove Netwon's first law of motion.
Meanwhile, Penny’s in a cab, trying to convince herself she’s over Jonnie, only to start touching herself under her skirt while Lebanese dance music blasts through the speakers. Her orgasm crashes right into a literal car accident, leaving her covered in tahini and mortified.
As if that isn’t enough, she stumbles out of the wreck only to come face to face with a strange little girl in a Victorian dress who seems to warp reality itself—taunting Penny with a riddles, twisting space and time until everything dissolves into darkness and cold...
